What people are saying about the series
Really enjoyed this easy read. Looking forward to the next book and seeing where life goes for Tessa and Carl.Running Home for Christmas, Amazon review
Can't believe how underrated this title is. Beautiful story. It's about learning to go through failures and allowing yourself to seek help from those who love you most, that it's okay to ask for help and come home at any age. Tessa comes back home after losing herself in London. Between her mum, friends and Carl, she gains hope again. ... There's so much to learn from this story. It's so worth it, I love it so much. Can't wait to start Book 2.Running Home for Christmas, Goodreads review
A very easy read, combined with all my favourite things: Christmas, parkrun and romance. A few things hit home and brought a few tears to my eye, but I really enjoyed this book and look forward to Book 2. I'd love to visit the Lindenfell parkrun and enjoy a coffee in Mara's coffee shop!Running Home for Christmas, Amazon review
A lovely, gentle romance which was perfect to curl up in front of the fire with, on a cold winters day. I really got immersed in the lives of the two main characters and I am looking forward to seeing where book number two takes them.Running Home for Christmas, Amazon review
I enjoyed this book as much as the first. You can’t help but get immersed in the lives of the characters and life in the village. Just a lovely, easy, feel-good read.Running Home to You, Amazon review
This is my new favorite author! I love the way she crafts her stories. This is the second book of the series, and it is just as good as the first. Very heartwarming.Running Home to You, Goodreads review
This sequel really delivers on the promise of a ‘happily ever after’ by showing us the actual work it takes to get there! Running Home to You is a beautiful deep dive into the realities of a relationship. I absolutely loved that this book moves past the typical ‘and they got together’ ending of most stories and movies. Instead, you get to see the actual ‘ever after’ happening in real-time. It provides a fantastic, in-depth look at Carl and Tessa as they navigate real choices, overcome insecurities, and support one another. The community aspect of this series is just so heartwarming. I specifically loved the group chat created to save Mara’s café... It’s those small, realistic details that make this town and its people so easy to love. I’m so invested in this world now that I just wanted Book Three to be available immediately!Running Home to You, Goodreads review
I really enjoyed this Lindenfell sequel. Watching Tessa and Carl as they navigate their relationship and their marathon training and wishing I could go to Mara's café and grab a drink. The sense of community is heart warming. I have a soft spot for Frank and laughed at him using at least eight fonts on his title slide. 'Every muscle group lodging formal complaints' is something I can definitely relate to. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.Running Home to You, Amazon review
This book had such a cute, cozy, heartwarming feel to it. I truly loved every second! The gradual gravitation towards each other between the main characters, as well as the side characters, helped build the perfect love story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I’m excited to read what comes next!Running Home for Love, Amazon review
Running Home For Love is James Hollis and Mara Bloom’s friends-to-lovers romance. It’s book three in the Lindenfell Romance Series, set in the small town of the same name. This is the first book I have read by this author, but it certainly won’t be the last. Mara loves her village, and her cafe is known for homemade cakes and good coffee. When she inherits a four-legged friend, she turns to new vet James for help, and that’s when their friendship begins. This is a sweet and cozy story that drew me in and didn’t let me go. It’s well written, with characters I fell hard and fast for, but more importantly, it left me smiling.Running Home for Love, Amazon review
A lovely third addition to the series. A gentle paced romance set in the magical village of Lindfell. The characters are so relatable that you feel like you are part of the story.Running Home for Love, Amazon review
Running Home for Love feels like a big hug in book form. The writing is filled with sweet humour, beautiful countryside atmosphere and deep community bonds. Mara and James are wonderful together, with a connection that grows naturally through genuine moments, sweet banter and heartwarming animal encounters. James is the ultimate green-flag hero, and returning to Lindenfell with its familiar faces and adorable dog feels like coming home. A flawless addition to an already beloved series!Running Home for Love, Goodreads review
I really enjoyed seeing Mara’s story develop with the new vet in town, James, and of course, Moose! It was lovely to see how Tessa and Carl are getting on too. I’d love to visit Mara’s café for a mocha, while watching Frank solve his crosswords and help the villagers with their problems. So heartwarming and comforting. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series!Running Home for Love, Amazon review
The beauty of watching love unfurl over time and without intention. An extremely slow burn, where their inner thoughts, personalities and learning to let down their walls take centre stage. I loved the unusual storytelling and was swept up in the rich descriptions of a beautiful little village. As a Brit, I loved a cosy story set in my world, with parkrun, rain, good cake and particular dogs. An easy read for cosy autumn nights, reading by candlelight.Running Home for Love, Amazon review
I truly don’t know how to put into words everything that I loved about this book. It was such a sweet, cozy read. Watching (or rather reading) the relationship between the main characters grow was such an honor, and had my heart overflowing by the end! I’m currently still processing everything, but I really truly loved this book. I’m excited for what’s next, and I might just go back and find the ones I haven’t read and read those too! Very well done!Running Home for Love, Goodreads review

Why I created LindenfellI didn’t plan to write romance. I’d written before, other things, other voices, but romance? A series? A whole fictional village with its own high street, parkrun and a schnauzer called Moose? No. That wasn’t the plan. But burnout has a funny way of rewriting your plans for you. A while back, I hit a wall. The kind where you can’t think straight, can’t feel much, can’t do the things that used to come easily. Anyone who’s been through it will know exactly what I mean, that strange, exhausted fog where even the things you love feel far away.
If you’re new here, welcome. I’m so glad you’ve found this little corner of the internet.Lindenfell is a fictional village where neighbours become family, the café always has fresh coffee waiting, and every story is filled with hope, friendship, and love. It’s a place where people look out for one another, where running brings the community together, and where even the smallest acts of kindness can change a life. One of the greatest compliments I’ve received came from a reader who said they wished they could visit Lindenfell themselves. Another described the series as 'stories that feel like coming home.'
